volunteer for the fight against slavery!

Without support from volunteers, Anti-Slavery International would not be able to achieve all that it does. Here are the different ways you can work with us.

Volunteer placements involve practical office-based work experience. The schedule is flexible -- some volunteers work at our offices for as little as four hours a week, others for up to four days each week. A time commitment may vary, although around three months is the most common. Lunch and travel expenses within the London area only are provided.

Internships at Anti-Slavery International tend to be more academic and project-led in content. Overseas applicants who are registered with a validated Student Exchange Scheme are invited to apply for an internship, (minimum three months). Most interns will either already have a degree, or will be enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters programme in a related subject, ie, International Relations or Human Rights. London-based students studying for a Masters degree can complete an internship to compliment their coursework.

Work Experience applicants normally apply through their schools or colleges and are not graduates. Students aged 15 to19 may apply for work experience on a full-time basis for a maximum of two weeks.

Festival volunteering for Anti-Slavery International. Workers Beer Company runs the beer bars and tents on all sorts of festivals in the UK. Organisations like Anti-Slavery International can send volunteers to pour and serve drinks in WBC bars, find out more .

Anyone interested in applying for a voluntary position, internship or work experience should send a CV and cover letter outlining the kind of work he/she would like to be considered for to the address below.
