SCHOOLS PARTNERSHIP AND LINKING
Linking UK students with children from across the world can be a valuable educational experience and enhance a schools’ capacity to deliver on
Every Child Matters Outcomes, Guidance on the duty to promote community cohesion and
The Global Dimensions framework.
Anti-Slavery International has followed the good guidance produced by a number of organisations to develop a concise schools linking guide specifically for the four schools built in Niger which provide education for children whose families have experienced slavery.
Creating a partnership and link with these schools will provide UK students with a deeper understanding of the link between slavery, discrimination and poverty, and the role that education plays in eradicating slavery as well as enhancing the geographical enquiry and modern language skills.
